I am just happy to be at the table
Sometimes the most genuine moments happen when the distance between feeling and expression disappears.
Sometimes there is such intensity that the words just start coming out.
You hear them as they arrive, but you may not even be sure if you are the one saying them.
There is almost no distance between the source of what you feel and the words coming out of your mouth.
You are just in sync.
You are just there.
In the moment.
And maybe that is why it feels so genuine. So authentic. It just is.
Artists as storytellers tell very different stories. Every story is unique anyway. But when an artist is able to tap into that state and deliver from there, it makes me feel alive.
And I am here for it.
